Gbong Gwom Jos Play Host to Young Inventor, Luka Bot Zang, Lauds His Technological Strides

The Gbong Gwom Jos and President Plateau State Joint Traditional Council, His Royal Majesty, Da Jacob Gyang Buba, CON today Wednesday 18th September, 2019 described 27 year old Luka Bot Zang who recently received the 2019 National MSMEs Award for Technology Innovation as a worthy Ambassador who is doing not just the Berom Nation but Plateau State and Nigeria proud through his technological innovations which can compete favorably well globally.

The Paramount Ruler commended the young Inventor for making the State proud during the 2019 National MSMEs Award in which he emerged the winner of the Award for Technology Innovation.

He said the inventions are record breaking and heartwarming taken into account the rapid global trends in science & technology.

He said the innovations have launched him to the global space urging him to train and mentor others.

Gbong Gwom Jos admonished other youths to emulate Mr. Luka Bot Zang by discovering their talents/gifts and putting them to effective use to attain their full potentials.

Gbong Gwom Jos posited that the State and Nation are blessed with great potentials yet to be discovered and harnessed.

He admonished the inventor to take his talents and gifts serious, doing away with negative tendencies saying he is worthy of global recognition and celebration.

HRH Da Jacob Gyang Buba said the values being added by the innovations are unquantifiable.

The elated Paramount Ruler who could not hide his joy when he held the Award Plague said he is overwhelmed, assuring his readiness to support the talents of the young man and urged the public to patronize the local contents which he described as having great quality to encourage the talents in young persons.

The Gbong Gwom was flanked by Gwom Rwei (District Heads), Be Gwom (Village Heads), elders, illustrious sons and daughters of the Berom Nation.

The Young Inventor, Mr. Luka Bot Zang thanked the Gbong Gwong Gwom for the encouragement and quality leadership.

He said he is at the Palace to present his award, seek for elderly counsel and royal blessings.

He said he is proud to be a Berom and went further to disclose that he will continue to do his best to make Berom Nation, Plateau State and Nigeria proud.

He said he is already training and mentoring others in his company with the aim of reducing unemployment, poverty, idleness, crime rate and other societal ills.

He said those being trained will become useful not only to themselves or families but the society and nation at large.

He said his intention is to ensure that people in the rural areas have access to the products at affordable prices to meet the absence of power in their communities.

He said his products are reliable, durable and of great quality saying he will never compromise standard.

“What we are doing here is recycling electronic wastes into useful technological gadgets and by this reducing global warming” he said.

He said he is committed to lifting many youths out of poverty through his company, Zang Technologies Ltd.

He charged the youths to make good use of their time and be diligent in what they do as long as they are legitimate.

Mr. Luka Bot Zang later presented the upgraded power bank as gift to the royal Father after receiving Royal blessings from the palace.

Mr. Luka Bot Zang is an inventor of Power Bank from e-waste, Computer Foot Mouse, Sand Sieving Machine and currently working on producing an automatic Candle Extinguisher.

These innovations fetch him the 2019 National MSMEs Award for Technology Innovation from the Federal Government through the office of the Vice President, His Excellency Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.
